Easter at Crylla Valley Cottages
Easter is a perfect time to bring your family on holiday to Cornwall and stay with us here at Crylla Valley, with fantastic free* use of the indoor heated swimming pool & flume nearby, there is plenty to do whatever the weather. Toddlers love to take advantage of the soft play area and the grown ups like the discounts on all the food and drink!
The ducks made us home last year, it was lovely to have all new chicks following their mums around and we hope to be graced again in 2013. Our annual visit from the pairing swan’s fondly known as ‘George & Georgie’ didn’t produce signets last season, but we have our fingers crossed this time around.
Within a minute or twos walk there is a new mini animal park which is run by the local inn; so we will all watch with spring time anticipation. There could be many new comers to the chickens, meerkats or even the miniature goats!!
There is always lots of Easter fun locally; The National trust are very good at throwing egg hunts with no need to book and there will only be a small charge of around £2 for hours of fun. There will be lots of Easter fun in the area – no doubt leading to a chocolate shortage in Cornwall!! If you wanted to; Crylla has fantastic grounds for your very own easter egg hunt - just don't tell our staff as they are rather partial to a piece of Chocolate ;-)
The local farm yards will be full of spring babies, there are places you can visit to catch the new arrivals such as Pennywell Farm as they have a great petting area or perhaps take a day out to the all weather attraction The Big Sheep; follow the links to view their spring events.
