Child Friendly Beach at Seaton
Seaton is very much a beach you should visit while on holiday here in Cornwall. For those with children there are facilities close by and access to the beach is level with good parking nearby.
The Coastal village of Seaton lies on the south coast of Cornwall, just over 5 miles east of the resort of Looe and about 18 miles from Plymouth.
Seaton’s steeply-sloping, grey sand and pebble beach is popular with families during the peak summer months.
Apart from being popular with families surfers also enjoy Seaton.
Stunning view of Seaton looking westwards towards Looe.
Dogs are allowed all year on Seaton beach.
Seaton has a good south west facing sandy beach and lies at the southern end of a wooded river valley. There are also pleasant walks along the Seaton Valley.
Common gulls are amongst some of the birds that can be seen here. When the tide is out it is possible to walk to Downderry, it is important to know the tide times to avoid getting cut off.
Seaton Beach Cafe has covered outdoor seating and log burners ideal for a chilly day. Cafe is opened all year round and serves locally sourced fresh food.
After a hard day on the beach time to relax and enjoy the views.
