Discover Our One Bed Self Catering Holiday Cottages
Crylla Valley Cottages is a fantastic place to stay for your holiday in Cornwall. All of our cottages are set within a well manicured estate with 18 acres of lawns, flower gardens and woodlands, yet close enough to modern amenities so you don’t feel completely isolated.
Our location makes it ideal to hit the road and head off for the day into Cornwall or Devon for a day of fun and exploration. Each property includes an allocated number of complimentary guest passes to the nearby China Fleet Country Club meaning that if you want to spend the day enjoying a swim in their indoor heated pool or relaxing in the amazing Aqua Spa – you can!
That’s the beauty of a self-catering holiday in Cornwall with us, you really do have the freedom to do whatever takes your fancy knowing at the end of the day you can return to a true home-from-home.
Here we will be focusing on the different one bed self catering cottages available at Crylla Valley Cottages, offering a choice suitable for singles on their own, couples or small families. Each type of cottage has its own features, benefits and personality, so we’re sure you’ll find one which suits you perfectly!
Our One Bed Self Catering Cottages
As a quick summary, we have several types of 1 bed cottages available to stay in. These are known as the one bedroom Valley Views, Fir Trees and Hazelwood.
All can sleep singles or couples comfortably and all have sofa beds suitable for 1 adult or 2 children up to 12 years of age. If you’re travelling with a baby or child 6 or under then our 1 bedroom Valley View Cottages have space in the Master bedroom for a travel cot or chair Bed. Each property also has its own dedicated parking space.

1 Bedroom Valley View Cottages
Our 1 Bed Valley View cottages are two storey, natural stone fronted buildings with beamed ceilings. They feel spacious and are fitted with good quality co-ordinated carpets, furnishings and fabrics, creating a real ‘home from home’ feel.
Flat screen TV’s with Freeview and DVD players are included as standard, as are washer dryers, cookers, microwaves, toasters, fridge freezers, irons, kettles and a full complement of cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils. Some also benefit from having a dishwasher**.
The Master bedroom is very spacious with room for either a travel cot or chair bed (suitable for a child up to 6 years of age). The open plan lounge offers a good quality sofa bed***.
Outside you have your own patio garden, patio furniture and during the summer months a gas BBQs****. Don’t forget we have large lawned areas and a woodland to explore. Each property also has an allocated parking space.
1 Bedroom Fir Tree Bungalows
Our 1 Bed Fir Trees are situated close to our lawns and award winning flower gardens and offer south facing patio areas. They are located close to the internet room, tourist information centre and only footsteps from the laundry room, which is shared with Brookside and Hazelwood.
Our Fir Trees offer great value accommodation for couples, they are especially popular with guests requiring level accommodation and parking.
The properties contain a flat screen TV with Freeview, DVD player, a cooker with grill and hob, a microwave, fridge with icebox, toaster, kettle, iron and a full complement of cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils. The open plan lounge also offers a good quality sofa bed**. If this is used we recommend single-family occupancy as the en-suite shower room is accessed via the double bedroom.
The shower room is a particularly useful feature of our Fir Trees for those who cannot manage a bath. If you would prefer a bath with shower over, then you may wish to consider Hazelwood which is of a similar style and also has level parking and access.
For comfort in this property we recommend it’s best occupied by a single or couple. We can accept maximum occupancy options of 2 adults and 2 children no older than 12 years, or alternatively 3 adults – both options would be utilizing the lounge sofa bed**.
Should you require larger 1 bedroom accommodation, and would like to request a cot, we would recommend one of our 1 Bedroom Valley View Cottages.
During the summer a BBQ*** is provided.
Level parking is just a few steps from the property.
1 Bedroom Hazelwood Cottage
The 1 Bed Hazelwood offers great value self catering in Cornwall for couples and those with young children, and is especially popular with our guests requiring level accommodation and parking.
The property offers a shared patio area close to our lawns and award winning flower gardens. Located near to the internet room, tourist information centre and only footsteps from the laundry room, which is shared with the Brookside and our similarly styled Fir Trees.
Provided within the accommodation is a Flatscreen TV with Freeview, a DVD player, cooker with grill and hob, microwave, under counter fridge with icebox, kettle, toaster, iron and a full complement of crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils.
The open plan lounge also offers a good quality sofa bed**. If this is used we recommend single-family occupancy as the bathroom is accessed via the double bedroom. The bedroom is set as a Kingsize double or may also be requested as a twin with small 2’6″ singles.
The bathroom in the Hazelwood has a bath with electric shower over. If you prefer a shower room you may wish to consider one of our Fir Trees which also benefit from level parking and access.
For comfort levels in this property we accept maximum occupancy of 2 adults and 2 children no older than 12 yrs or alternatively 3 adults – both options would be utilizing the sofa bed** in the lounge area. Should you require 1 bedroom accommodation and would like to request a cot we would advise you consider a 1 Bedroom Valley View Cottage, or call us to find out more.

Property is graded 3 star when Sofa Bed is selected. Travel Cot and High Chair available at £5 each.
