Why should you visit Kingsand and Cawsand?
Kingsand and Cawsand are twin villages in South East Cornwall and really are worth a visit while on holiday in the Southwest. With lots of spectacular scenery, good walks, places to eat and lots more it really makes for a good day out.
Stunning view of Fort Picklecombe
Fort Picklecombe was built to defend Plymouth Sound.
Villages are well known for their smuggling and fishing past.
As the tide goes out it leaves behind plenty of rock pools to explore. Kingsand is a mixture of sand and shingle, while Cawsand is mainly sand.
There is always something to watch out for on the water.
Looks like someone else would like to have some water fun!
Definitely worth a return visit.
