Kernow’s First Family Fun Day Out at Port Isaac
Friday 2nd August
Today I went to Port Isaac with Mia Bates, Jodie Francis (both aged 10) and their mums and dads.
We drove to Port Isaac and had the roof down in the car which was great and I nearly flew off! It is the first time I have ridden in a convertible. Mia and Jodie gave me lots of cuddles.
When we arrived at Port Isaac, Mia, Jodie and I all ran straight down to the beach. We felt the sea on our toes and it was freezing so we just looked for shells Mia fell in the sea and got wet, we all stood and laughed.
After enjoying the beach we walked up the hill to a hotel passing ‘Doc Martin’s’ house along the way. The views over the bay were great.
We all had a lovely cream tea but it was a bit scary because we were outside and the wasps were trying to get the jam!
The best part of today was going out with my new friends, Mia and Jodie and having lots of fun. I am staying in their holiday cottage tonight and tomorrow I will be a bit upset because they go home. Until the new visitors arrive and I can go on another adventure!
